THE HISTORY OF MAGNUM The Magnum brand was founded in about 1966, when Don Aronow built two hulls specifically for the gut-busting offshore circuit. These two designs, with which he launched Magnum Marine, were the Magnum 27’ and the Magnum 35’; both went on to become World Offshore Champions in Open Class racing. MAGNUM RACING The boat has won the World Championships in offshore two years in a row, plus a whole host of other championships and offshore races. The extreme offshore version of the Boghammar Magnum 28 is the most successful boat hull in its range that is built today. The hull is designed by Don Aronow, USA.
